Temporary Chefs Requires Urgently

Adecco are searching for experienced and enthusiastic chefs to work across Edinburgh.
We have work available immediately in a variety of locations including restaurants, care homes, schools, events and functions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team with some fantastic clients offering flexible and rewarding work.

Outline of duties:

– Prepare, cook and serve meals whilst following specific dietary requirements
– Ensure the kitchen area is clean and tidy
– Maintain health and exceptional hygiene standards
– Oversee any kitchen staff including allocation of duties
– Responsible for completing the stock checklists and rotation
– Manage food portion size and temperature checks
– Maintain good employee relations and work with the existing team
– Attend any team meetings as required

About you:

Existing PVG scheme membership is required (this will ensure an immediate start) However assistance will be given in applying for this certificate should you not currently hold this requirement.

Certificate in Food Hygiene and understanding of Health and Safety requirements.

SVQ level two is desirable.

Applicants must be FLEXIBLE and your own transport is advantageous as you may need to travel in and around the City. You must have your own whites.
