Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per year

This is an opportunity based in the Bradford area (specifically within the BD3 postcode) at a school we regularly receive fantastic feedback about. The school is a mainstream primary school, and they are looking for someone to provide 1:1 support with an SEN pupil in Reception with autism.

The role will be perfect for someone who will be patient, understanding and empathetic to the pupil and their needs. The role will be extremely rewarding and provide strong job satisfaction.

The successful candidate will:

• have some knowledge and experience on how to support a pupil with autism
• have experience working with pupils in Early Years (EYFS)
• establish a warm, caring and supportive relationship with the pupil
• promote the pupils cognitive, social, emotional, behavioural, physical development and spiritual well-being
• liaise with other staff to ensure the pupil can access the learning and stay happy in school
• be able to communicate effectively with the pupil they are providing support to
