A leading European distributor, selling both direct to the consumer and through a wholesale distribution network have a permanent opportunity for an E Commerce Manager to join a growing team. The company has experienced continual strong growth over the last 10 years and now generates sales of over £20m with over 60 employees. An ambitious plan exists for further growth and they are now seeking an Ecommerce Manager to join their growing team.
The candidate will seek to continuously optimise all functions across a number of sites, boosting sales and ensuring profitability. As a result, the Ecommerce Manager will regularly analyse and report on results and make insight-led recommendations to deliver continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
· Owning and improving the end-to-end online experience to drive sales and profitability using a data driven approach
· Overseeing internal design and development and external agency teams to plan and execute development roadmaps, including an A/B UX test roadmap
· Monitoring of online KPIs
· A regular maintenance schedule
· Implementing automation processes to both facilitate day-to-day trading and new and better ways of working
· Develop a digital merchandising strategy
· Compile reports on a weekly and ad hoc basis to facilitate reactive trading and strategic planning
· Data and feed management including product categorisation
· Working to technical SEO best practice alongside external SEO support
Key Skills/Experience
* Strong data handling and analysis skills a must to enable data led feedback to key management team
* Commercially aware and results driven
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and pressurised environment
* Good communication and influencing skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues
* Multi-lingual site experience preferred
* Magento and Amazon experience preferred
* Data/feed management preferred
* Project Management experience preferred
· Hands-on and analytical; must be in the detail
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Self-starter, motivated to propose new ideas and see them through

* Monday to Friday, flexible working hours, between 8am – 6pm
