Our client, a leading waste management operator, is looking to recruit a Transfer Station Supervisor to cover a number of sites in East Anglia. Working a part of a team of Supervisors, you will assist the Site Manager in controlling and coordinating the safe and efficient operation of the sites in accordance with management instructions, health & safety regulations and legislative requirements laid down in working plans, planning permissions and waste management permits.

* Experience of working in a waste/logistic/transport/maintenance operation in a team leader/supervisor capacity

* Experience of operating and working with heavy plant

* Experience of working in an environment where safety has been given top priority

* Familiarity with weighbridge operation and systems

* Experience in planning and working within a cost budget
