Salary: £31,200 – £38,400 per year
A leading national air conditioning installation and maintenance company have an opportunity for an air conditioning engineer to join their team. They will be
responsible for retrofit and repair of environmental-comfort systems, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts and maintaining great customer relationships. They will cover the Surrey, Kent and South London area
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
following blueprints or engineering specifications.
Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications
Maintain equipment and maintain paperwork retraining and follow up training
Keeps current on all Daikin products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair
Provides technical support to customers
The technician will posses a working knowledge of all commercial air conditioning systems and components, as well as boilers, electric/electronic and pneumatic control systems, water treatment, high voltage equipment and general building mechanical systems. A thorough knowledge of Daikin products and/or competitive equipment is essential.
The right individual will drive a company vehicle to job sites, Be flexible to work overtime/weekends if necessary and travel regularly.
Education and/or Experience:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent from a Technical /Trade School with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and three (3) years related experience with increasing responsibility; or five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
