Class 2 and 7.5t Drivers Required Christmas Mail Delivery ££

My client, the largest haulier of mail in the UK are seeking experienced Class 2 and 7.5t drivers to undertake work out of their busy mail centre in Manchester.

We have work starting in October and for the right candidate this contract is ongoing for the rest of the year or as long as the candidate wants. The higher rate is initially paid over Christmas but once 12 weeks work is completed this rate is paid across the board in parity with the clients current driving staff. We currently have drivers working out of the Chorley, Manchester and Warrington depots who

Key Responsibilities:
– Delivery of bulk mail to depots and postal hubs across the country
– The ability to work to strict timing arrangements provided by the client
– A safe and steady drive of company vehicles

Key Requirements – candidates must:
– Have held their Class 2 or 7.5t entitlement for more than 2 years
– Have 180 days driving experience in the last 2 years
– Be familiar with the UK road network system
– Be able to work to tight deadlines as the routes are very strict
– Be flexible with start times

Shift Patterns:
Various patterns of shifts Monday to Sunday, various start times available with a minimum of 8 hours paid per shift.

Pay rate:
£15.3 – £19.2 per hour with overtime paid after 36.25 hours.
