Senior PMO Officer

Salary: £48,000 – £52,800 per year

Leading Independent Enviromental Consultancy seeks an experienced Senior PMO Officer.

The Senior PMO Officer is responsible for providing support to the relevant division(s) and central functions, assisting in the delivery of client/enterprise projects and contributing to wider improvement efforts across the business.

This is a varied role and as such will require a flexible individual with a broad range of skills, who loves getting their sleeves rolled up and getting stuck in to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
You will be an expert in Project Management methodologies, with experience of delivering a range of projects either in a PM role or via a PMO. Experience of delivering client/consultancy projects as well as enterprise projects is advantageous.
You will have experience of designing methodologies and ways of working, not just following them.
You will be engaging and enthusiastic and know how to build strong relationships, negotiate with, and influence people to get them on board and deliver the right results.
You will have experience of supporting Project Managers both informally as a source of knowledge and guidance, and through more formal training scenarios, to ensure project success.
This role also incorporates wider process/business improvement elements, so a passion for problem solving and overcoming challenges is key.
You will have excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce a range of documentation, strong excel skills are a must too.Skills and experience:
