Electric Motors Fitter – Manchester
Salary – £36,441.6 – £37,440 OTE around £35,000 – £50,000
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electric Motors Fitter to join a growing organisation that specialise in electric motor repairs and maintenance, with a fantastic reputation for rewarding hard work. Excellent working environment and benefits.
This Manchester based electro-mechanical repair facility, with over 25 years’ experience and one of the largest workshops in the UK. The successful Fitter will play a key role in assessing and evaluating electric motors, pumps and gearboxes. Your duties will include:-
- Testing of AC/DC electric motors
- Connection & Testing of Windings
- Correct use of tools and test equipment
- Correct use of Quality Assurance paperwork
- Adherence to Health & Safety practices
- Assist with other key tasks within the workshop
To apply you must have:-
- Qualification by experience or HND level
- Must be available to be on standby for shift work (will be paid overtime for this)
- Previous experience in similar electromechanical role
- Understanding of modern repair techniques
- Driving License Required
