Waking Night Support Worker

Are you an experienced Night Worker looking for a new opportunity? If so I have just the opportunity to join a fantastic charity that supports children with learning disabilities.

You will be working in a residential home that is part of a well established charity and you will be based in Seaford, East Sussex.

As a Waking Night Support Worker your duties will include:
Taking initial action for residents who might be awake or causing a disturbance.
Wake any residents who may be on regular programme of particular medical care during the night.
Remain awake and alert at all times to ensure safety of residents throughout the night.
under take security checks of the premises throughout the night.

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working in a care setting with children or adults with learning disabilities. You will also have experience of dealing with challenging behaviour. NVQ level 3 in health and social care is preferred. However this also something you can work towards within the job role!

The hours for this role are 10pm – 10am, there are mixture of week days and weekends available. In return for your hard work this role comes with competitive rates of Salary: £26,000per night Monday to Thursday and £111.98 per night Friday – Sunday! This position is also term time only so you will only be working 38 weeks a year.
