Our client is a joinery contractor working for both private and public clients within East Anglia, The Home Counties and London area. The company is well established with a track record of delivering joinery solutions to interior spaces. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced design manager with a strong background in joinery and interior fit out.
The role will need someone who can take control of the management and delivery of the design process to the preconstruction team (Estimating, Sales, Joinery Production), project delivery team, end client and their representatives. The successful candidate will need to lead a team of design engineers to ensure that accurate drawings are produced within given deadlines. There will be a requirement to attend meetings with clients and their associates.
CANDIDATE:
- Experience within the joinery / interior fit out industry
- Knowledge of Auto CAD or Solid Works
- Good IT Knowledge
- Previous experience of leading teams
- Excellent communication skills
