Roving Electrical Supervisor

Trant Engineering Limited is a multi discipline Engineering & Construction company, with projects throughout the UK and Overseas.  We have a number of different divisions including Energy, Oil & Gas, Water & Process, International and Control & Automation.

We are currently looking for a proven electrical supervisor to join our team.

Ideally based within commuting distance of our offices in Southampton, the role will require regular travel to sites across the UK, servicing our various different divisions.

Duties will include but are not limited to;

Overseeing direct and subcontract electrical staff on site.
Ensuring project delivery – reporting to Site Management and Project Managers based in head office
Day to day planning, organising, supervision and control of electrical installation
Scoping new works, surveys, etc.
Ensuring company safety policies are adhered to
Communicating plans, programmes and safe systems of work with project stakeholders and ensuring their understanding and compliance
Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to health & safety ensuring that tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Installation background within the utilities (water power) or other heavier industrial sectors
SSSTS / SMSTS
JIB Electrician
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Electrical Trade Skills demonstrated by NVQ/Apprenticeship
ECS/CSCS Card
Full UK Driving License
Computer Literate
Applicants must be happy to work away when required, though this is usually limited to Monday – Friday

Mobile Tower Erection (e.g. PASMA)
Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (e.g. IPAF)
