Class 1 Driver

Salary: £16.2 – £21.6 per hour

Taylor Stevenson are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client based in Chesterfield, Markham Vale.

Our client is one of the largest distribution companies in the UK, supplying various national contracts to RDC’s across the UK.

PAID CANCELLATIONS – GUARANTEED SHIFTS.

MINIMUM 40 hours pay minimum GUARANTEED.

We can work around your preference for shift lengths from 8 hours per day to 12-15 hour shifts if you want nights out on occasions.

Flexible for 1-6 shifts per week to suit your preference.

Trunking – full load deliveries – no handball.

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Days / Nights & Weekends on an ongoing basis, you will be working out of both RDC’s just off the M1 junction 29 at Markham Vale. You will be carrying refrigerated goods to various RDC’s across the UK on simple trunk runs. We are looking for drivers who are looking for part time work to cover weekend shifts, we also have the availability to guarantee you 5/6 shifts on a weekly basis if you prefer full time work.

ANY SHIFT PATTERN TO SUIT YOUR PREFERENCE/ ANY START TIME TO SUIT YOUR PREFERENCE.

REQUIREMENTS:

* HGV Class 1 Experience (12 months)

* Valid CPC, Digi card and Driving Licence.

* Fridge and Curtainsider experience.

DUTIES:

* Delivering palletised goods to various locations (full load deliveries/ one drop).

* No handball or manual labour.

* Carrying out POD’s.

* Vehicle checks.

* Good communication with transport.

Various shift patterns and start times available to suit your preference (full time/part time/weekends)

RATES: (PAYE)

Days: £15

Nights: £16

Saturday: £18

Sunday: £20.50
