Civil Engineer

A specialists Civil Engineering consultancy that works UK-wide across the water, transport and energy waste sectors si looking to hire a Civil Engineer on a 12 month contract.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate should have college or working experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D or InRoads, StormCAD, Civil Storm and other Bentley/Haestad programs. AutoCAD skills/capabilities should including working with multiple master files, attaching and manipulating xref files, working with multiple scales, and viewports.

Must have passed the FE (EIT) exam. BS Civil Engineering with stormwater management courses required. MS Civil Engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Sample – Modify as Needed: This position performs a variety of engineering work in the initial planning and design phase of equipment, systems, or processes. Specifications are prepared, and necessary subcontracts and requisitions are defined.

The incumbent has basic knowledge of concepts, principles, and theories in a subject area or discipline. He/she has a general understanding of the role of the team/ department and industry practice and standards

• Under close supervision, the individual performs the routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles.

• Using prescribed methods, performs specific and limited portions of engineering assignments.
