Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year
Are you an Electrical Design Engineer looking to work on exciting projects at the cutting edge of R&D?
Our client’s mission is to provide R&D services to Aerospace, Marine and Power generation companies. Their portfolio includes countless projects for key players in Aerospace and other industries. They are increasingly engaging in projects related to renewable energy which help their clients achieve their own Net Zero goals.
They are now seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team of experienced engineers.
As the new Electrical Design Engineer your role will be diverse and include (but is not limited to):
- The design of instrumentation and control systems
- Electrical control panel design
- Writing LabVIEW and PLC code
- Solving electrical design challenges
- Working from concept all the way through to system testing and delivery
- Working independently and as part of a team
Experience with SolidWorks Electrical or EPLAN will be advantageous as well as experience of designing and working with safety systems. It is also desirable for the candidate to possess good programming skills. Experience of programming in LabVIEW and/or Python will be an advantage as will experience working with machinery safety and hazardous areas.
