Aim – This Sales & Application Engineer will be tasked to secure profitable growth across London and the Home Counties, within contracting works for refrigeration, air conditioning & ventilation (retail & commercial sectors)..

Role & Tasks –

Refrigeration & AC Sales Engineer will be tasked with seeking out new clients to widen the company’s customer base, in addition to developing business within our existing customer. base.

Assisting the Contract Manager in carrying out contract execution involving design, purchasing and contract management.

Along with our Commercial Manager, you will ensure maximum sales coverage within the area, agreeing appropriate sales margins and ensuring these margins are achieved (and maintained until contract completion).

In addition to identifying new business, this Sales & Applications person should be able to accurately estimate projects and offer a tailored solution to meet the customer requirements. (Example being able to site survey, undertake heat load calculations, select equipment for appropriate for purpose, aid in design and quote/estimate the project)

This role is mainly focused around London and the home Counties, although candidates must be prepared to travel nationally from time to time to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements –

Technical sales background (projects/contracts)

Experience of quoting for all aspects of HVAC contracting Refrigeration (walk in cold/freezer rooms, small packs, multi deck display chillers, etc), AC (single & multi split, vrv/f, close control) and Ventilation (fcu’s, ahu’s and supply & extract).

Very strong communication skills (written & verbal)

IT literate (Word, Excel, Email, etc)

Able to strike up & maintain business relationships
