Non HGV Delivery Drivers (Self Employed)

Continued growth of on-line shopping has caused a massive growth in demand for parcel delivery drivers. Our client (one of the market leaders in the parcel delivery industry) is currently recruiting additional self-employed delivery drivers who will each have the opportunity to earn gross earnings IRO £30-40,000 per annum.

If you have always dreamed of becoming your own boss but never had the chance, or have wanted to earn up to £36,000 – £48,000.00 per year, this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.

Subject to successfully completing our clients assessment process and 1 weeks training, you will be leased a company branded 3.5 tonne sprinter van which will become your company vehicle which you are able to use for both business and private use (you may choose to hire your own if you prefer).

The company will allocate you a particular delivery area which will become your dedicated delivery zone. Each morning you will collect from our clients depot all of the parcels to be delivered within your delivery area. You will then receive an agreed payment for each successful delivery made.

This is a fully self-employed position and will require that you register for self-employment and VAT Registration with HMRC and will require a small capital investment (normally in the region of £1300.00, consisting of a £300.00 administration fee which will be returned within six weeks of commencing the role and the remainder being a vehicle damage deposit which will be refunded should you choose to leave and return your delivery vehicle in suitable condition).

Our client will hire a delivery vehicle to you (including insurance) and will provide fuel for the vehicle, although each of these will be charged back to your business as operating expenses.

Generally drivers will deliver 80-100 parcels a day to generate turnover IRO £45,000.00 normally leaving IRO £30,000.00 gross pay after deduction of operating expenses. Many drivers are successfully making 100 deliveries a day and are achieving earnings IRO of £40,000.00 after deduction of operating expenses.
