This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing financial services firm as an in-house copywriter and editor.

The firm is a well respected financial advisor, often being quoted in leading industry publications and the broader consumer press.

You be responsible for writing content for website pages, blogs, eBooks, press releases and email (newsletters and marketing emails). You will also be responsible for editing blogs written by our financial advisers to ensure they are reader friendly.

The company has two sides to its business, a well established insurance advisory service for health and protection products (such as life insurance, income protection and medical insurance) and a recently launched pensions and investment advisory service.

Having already developed a large amount of content on the insurance side, the main focus of this role will be to bring the new pensions side up to the same level, although there will still be insurance related copywriting responsibilities.

The company has placed content at the heart of its marketing for 5 years and therefore this is a very important position. To further capitalise on this strategy the company also plans to build a new team to assist with the distribution of its content to a wider audience.

Digital Copywriter / Editor Key Responsibilities:

> Write articles, blog posts and eBooks
> Review / update / improve existing web content
> Write press releases based on in-house research
> Write and distribute email newsletters
> Produce email content for marketing automation
> Script video based content
> Manage and edit blogs written by in-house technicians

Essential Skills:

It is essential that you have experience writing about pensions and investments, and a bonus if you have experience writing about health and / or protection insurance. Your background may be in journalism or working in-house as a financial services copywriter.
It would also be beneficial if you have a good understanding of on-page SEO and a basic understanding of Google Analytics, although the latter is not essential.

Employment Details:

> Salary of £42,000 – £48,000depending on experience
> Working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm
> 24 days paid holiday plus your birthday
> Office located in Central London (The City)
