Salary: £32,400 – £36,000 per year

Internal Sales Representative, Norwich, PERMANENT, FULL TIME

Driver Hire Norwich are currently looking to fill an exciting position for an Internal Sales role based at our clients branch in Norwich. They are the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables in the United Kingdom. Working Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays (Additional working hours may be required)

Duties:

Working within internal sales, you will be assisting the Norwich branch in achieving the profitable sale of goods, up-selling as appropriate. You will be required to provide efficient response to incoming customer enquiries and orders, building a rapport and credibility with customers.

Other responsibilities may include:

• Utilising the IT system to accurately identify, source and price items.
• Recording enquiries, orders, invoices and other documentation.
• Working with management and colleagues to identify improvements to services and products.
• Assisting with purchasing tasks, including placing orders with suppliers.
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate will have following key skills:

• Experience in a sales environment would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of engineering products and processes is desirable, however not essential.
• Willing and able to learn about and support new products.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as numerical skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
