Sustainability Specialist

Salary: £41.58 per hour

Reporting to our Sustainability Lead, the Sustainability Specialist is responsible for supporting the delivery of Simplyhealth’s Environmental, Social and Governance strategy to ensure that it delivers on our purpose and drives commercial benefit.

The role will draw on the rich heritage and scale of Simplyhealth to move perception to a market leading, innovative digital health solution provider, while anchoring our Purpose authentically. We have ambitious plans to play a much broader role in UK healthcare as a health solutions provider, transforming the way we work and what we do to ensure we have the greatest possible impact on access to healthcare in the UK.

What you’ll do

• Work with the Sustainability Lead to operationalise and embed the Simplyhealth ESG strategy across the Environmental, Social and Governance pillars
• Play a key role in developing the strategy for Simplyhealth Giving and drive all charity and community engagement throughout the business
• Promote all aspects of social investment, fundraising and volunteering in collaboration with internal and external communications teams
• Support on external ESG relationships, reporting, administration and internal engagement
• Collation of business data as required to enable reporting of impact across all ESG initiatives
• Monitor and report on our SDGs, ensuring we are working towards best-in-class goals, and creating accountability across the business
• Support ESG accreditations through maintenance of records and relationships, e.g. FSC, B Corp
