Location: Croydon
There are some major rail upgrades taking place in London at present and we are currently recruiting for a number of Senior Mechanical Design Engineers to work on one of these major developments incorporating a couple of new build stations and tunnel extensions.
We are looking for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer’s from a Building Services background who have experience of mechanical services design on rail station projects to join the Surrey/ Greater London office of a large successful multi-national Design Consultants on a long term contract basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanical Design Engineers will be working within the M&E Design Team producing full Mechanical Services Design including ventilation, heating and ductwork design of station buildings.
The Mechanical Design Engineers will be providing detailed equipment schedules and specifications, detailed design drawings and designing full cycle from concept to completion.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
*Working knowledge of UK standards.
*Must be conversant in Hevacomp Mechanical software.
*Member of relevant industry body such as CIBSE or equivalent.
*Knowledge of London Underground, LUL projects would be a major advantage.
*Must be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
