HGV 1 C + E Drivers

This role is purely RDC to RDC – no store deliveries.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for HGV 1 drivers to join a friendly on-site team based in Thatcham, Berks for an on-going contract working for a leader in supply chain solutions with major contracts across the UK.
Full time/ part time and weekend shifts available. All levels of commitments/ availability will be considered.

As a HGV 1 Driver your duties will include:
• Trunking products to depots throughout the UK (RDC to RDC only)
• Loading and Unloading of full and empty pallets
• Driving safely and with courtesy when out on the road.
• Responsible for vehicle checks before leaving the depot.

The ideal HGV 1 Driver will have the following skills and experiences:

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• No more than 6 points / DD or DR for insurance purposes.
• 12 months or more experience of driving Class 1 vehicles – due to insurance purposes.
• Digi card tacho experience.
• Reliable and flexible.

NB. If you are a newly qualified driver or a driver that doesn’t have 12 months experience, driving a HGV 1 vehicle then we do offer a free training option. This one days training course will cover you to meet all of insurance requirements and as a result you will be offered work on our contract.
