Quartz Recruitment are working with their client to help them find a Trainee Duty Manager for their hotel in Paignton.
The Trainee Duty Manager will have responsibility for overseeing the Reception, Restaurant, Housekeeping and Kitchen. The role will be a working position and your main function will be to cover Reception and Food and Beverage but you will be required to chip in where required.
The Trainee Duty Manager will have a pivotal role within the organisation and will work within a team to provide front line services to the public. You will look after reception, the Food and Beverage department, Housekeeping and Kitchen
It will be an interesting and varied role and you will have a great opportunity to grow your career with this hotel. There is a clear progression to Assistant Manager for the successful applicant.
Skills Required
The successful Trainee Duty Manager will be customer focused with good people skills, You will be organised and methodical and enjoy working in a sometimes hectic environment. Excellent IT and Administration skills with the ability to pick up new procedures quickly and easily. Previous experience of a Reception/Food and Beverage role would be advantageous but we would consider candidates who have customer service and supervising skills.
Pay and Hours for Trainee Duty Manager
annual salary of would be up to £26,000per year depending on skills and experience
On average 45 hours week, guaranteed pay for 30 hours.
Includes weekends and bank holidays including Christmas
Must be flexible as working hours may vary depending on the needs of the business.
The position could offer live-in
