Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year
Production Manager / Coordinator required for internationally recognised leading engineering company based near Ipswich.
Specialising in bespoke power generation and providing high-quality products throughout the world. to a wide range of clients this company can offer a varied, technically challenging and rewarding environment in which to work. This varied and hands-on role will involve overseeing Mechanical Engineering manufacturing, build and test on two sites.
Responsibilities will include:
* Planning and organising production schedules.
* Assessing project resource requirements.
* Document and process management.
* Chair weekly production meetings and update schedules as necessary.
* Tool box talks with the shop floor.
* Site meetings as appropriate. (Provide project charts for installation and commissioning works)
* Identifying and managing training requirements.
* HSE management.
* Time sheet coordinator.
* Communicate and liaise with department managers.
* Shop floor liaison.
* Organize transport.
Applicants must have:
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience of managing within an engineering manufacturing environment.
* Knowledge of process management
* Have strong people management skills and experience
* Experience of HSE within the workplace
Salary is negotiable depending upon experience. 25 days holiday plus BH. Company pension, Death in Service Benefit, free parking.
