Vehicle Handling Operative Weekend Work

This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of RMS Recruitment who is operating as an employment agency recruiting for our client, a prestigious Vehicle Manufacturer based in the Midlands.
We are currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Handling Operatives to work up to 24 hours over a Saturday and Sunday every week.
Duties will involve moving vehicles within a compound setting and quality checking ensuring all vehicles distributed are compliant with company standards.
It is essential that all applicants:
– Hold a Full UK driving Licence with a minimum of 2 years driving experience.
– Can Commit to every working weekend and be flexible with Day/Night as shifts may vary.
– Ability to complete external quality checks and document any imperfections.
– Ability to learn new systems and input data onto hand held PCD device
– Are conscientious drivers with the ability to work effectively in a team.
– due to insurance reasons this role is unsuitable for anyone aged under 25 and anyone with a DR10 or more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence
Experience within the automotive industry, commercial driving and experience in driving left hand vehicles is an advantage.

£26,000 per year

The position is offered on an on-going basis and candidates will be expected to be flexible.
