PCV Technician/ Permanent / Burton on Trent / Monday to Saturday 5 out of 6 days / Full Time / 40 hours per week £29,120 ( 8 hours per day) or 50 hours per week £36,440 ( 10 hours per day) / PCV City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3 Experience

Infinite Recruitment are supporting their local bus company to identify and recruit experienced PCV Technicians.

Qualifications

* City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 along with at least 3 – 5 years in experience in bus mechanics

Salary

40 hours 5 over 6 rotating £29,120 ( £14 per hour, 8 hour shift ) 30 minute unpaid lunch break

50 hours 5 over 6 rotating £36,400 ( £14 per hour, 10 hour shift )

We encourage you to work on your own initiative but you should also enjoy working as part of a dedicated team. The role includes the maintaining and repairing of fleet of buses to the highest standards set out by Midland classic and DVSA, whilst maintaining Health & safety standards at all times. All successful candidates will have to undertake a company medical.

Duties

Repairing and maintaining the company fleet 60+ buses

Carrying out inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs

Roadside repairs if required

Shifts are as follows

40 hour working week Rotating

Early 05.00 to 13.00

Mid 06.30 to 15.00

Late 11.30 to 20.00

50 hour working week Rotating

Early 05.00 to 15.30

Mid 06.30 to 17.00

Late 09.30 to 20.00

A full driving licence is essential for the position – PCV is desirable but not essential. You will be required to have your own tools, full Uniform including safety boots will be provided.
