OUR client is seek to appoint an ambitious UK Bid Writer with a proven track record and capability with instant credibility to accelerate our growth and share in our success. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business in one of its most exciting and challenging areas.
To be considered for this role you must firstly be a stand-alone, self-sufficient, hard working, self-motivated and results driven individual.
The successful UK Bid Writer must have at least three to five years’ bid experience, which has involved partly or in full management of the bid life cycle activities. Equally important is your confidence, tenacity and passion.
You will be able to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of the customer’s business in order to effectively identify solutions that fit well with the customer’s strategy and needs.
Experience in the grounds maintenance / FM sector is highly desirable.
Duties will include:
· Acting as an ambassador for the company to increase brand and company awareness and subsequent increase in sales/business through quality submissions
· Other duties as instructed and deemed suitable by either the Business Development Director or Commercial Manager
· Taking ownership of proposal and marketing collateral and managing ‘Bid Library’
· Assisting with the review of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
· Presentation writing
· Supporting and working alongside the bid coordinators/BD team
· Development of proposal collateral
· Ability to handle a large volume of bids across multiple divisions
· Cross selling with other divisions of our business
