Electro-Mechanical Assembler

Salary: £27,000 per year

Being an electro-mechanical assembler, you already know what this type of position involves and you are therefore confident at reading and working from engineering drawings and a keen problem solver. You will be joining an organisation who promotes within and values their staff and will allow you to work together with a team of other assemblers on interesting and diverse products.

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £27,000
Hours: Monday – Friday with Flexible working hours with an early finish on Fridays
Duration: Permanent

What you will be doing:

– Marking out, drilling, tapping, bolting
– Cutting, bending and fitting tubing
– Attaching and connecting components including valves and pressure regulators
– Building and testing sub-assemblies
– Electrical wiring and carrying out pressure and function testing
– working with compressed gases (full training will be given)
– Recording results for certification

About you:

– Good understanding of mechanical and electrical principles
– Experienced within mechanical and electrical assembly
– Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and standard operating procedures
– Keen problem solver
– Team player
