Maintenance Engineer

My Client is an ambitious and successful company supplying the NHS and private sector. They have recently installed an Ethylene Oxide (EtO) sterilisation plant to broaden Their operational capability and underpin Their dynamic growth strategies for the UK market.

They have a new full time position at facility for a qualified engineer to become an integral part of the operations team. They are looking for someone with experience in plumbing, electrics and mechanical equipment who is a team player and able to take responsibility and become a key member of the operations team. Duties will include training and development of operations staff as well as maintenance of the EtO plant.

This position is also viewed as the Head of Engineering Services within the company. It will provide opportunities to deliver preventative maintenance plans and liaise with external suppliers where appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the company’s wider operations.

The successful candidate will have a background as an electrical/ mechanical engineer and experience in sterilisation, particularly EtO, would be advantageous. Team leading or supervisory experience is also desirable as is a hands-on approach to problem solving.
