Senior Estimator (11061)

Our client:

We are working with a Top 10 Major Contractor who have an excellent reputation in the Midlands gained from successfully constructing some of the regions highest profile projects.
Their regional construction office in Birmingham now requires a suitably experienced and qualified Senior Estimator to join their team to help secure building projects in the region.

Role:

Working closely with the Pre-Construction Director and Regional Director you will have responsibility for pricing and securing construction schemes valued up to £50 million across a variety of sectors.
You will work closely with clients/their representatives, the work winning team and other internal departments and the supply chain.
Will be involved in deciding which schemes to bid and will look for opportunities to differentiate your bids from the competition.
You would provide guidance to the junior members of the work winning team but would have no formal managerial responsibilities on a daily basis.

Requirements:

You will have a demonstrable track record of pricing and securing significant construction schemes in the UK.
You will be IT literate.
Based in or able to commute to the West Midlands daily.
