Location: Reading
The role:
As Care Coordinator your role will be to take responsibility for coordinating the staffing of a Kent County Council contract in the area. The Care Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining staffing levels to ensure that all services are able to operate safely, backfilling and shortfalls as they arise due to sickness, absence or planned holidays. The Care Coordinator is also the first point of call for any queries from both care staff and families/service users, you will liaise with local authorities, PCTs, service users and their families to ensure the quality of the service that is being provided is of the highest standard.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for the role of Domiciliary Care Manager will have:
– Previous experience within a Care coordination/supervisory role within domiciliary care.
– An NVQ3 equivalent qualification.
– Experience in providing hands on care.
– A stable work history.
