Finance Manager

Salary: £72,000 – £84,000 per year

Finance Manager – This North London based distribution company has an enviable client base with ambitious plans to move into new markets and expand its business over the next few years. As part of these changes, they are looking to recruit an experienced Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Finance Manager to join their team and basically bridge the gap between the Finance Director and the rest of the finance team. As the FD role becomes more strategic, the Finance Manager will essentially look after the day to day running of the finance function under the tutelage of the FD. Key responsibilities for the role will include:

*Responsibility for all the financial issues within the business, producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research to inform the decision making of senior executives.
*Guiding and supporting the finance team of 5-6 people, including part qualified and transactional staff.
*Producing key management information and cash flows at month end
*Liaising with external auditors for tax preparation, auditing, banking, investments, and other financial needs
*Tracking the financial status and performance of the company to identify and promote areas for potential improvement.
*Analysing and reviewing financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports to present to the Directors, executives and clients.
*Preparing budget reports for approval.
*Providing information and guidance to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.
*Establishing and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company.
*Understanding and adhering to financial regulations and legislation.

You will be an ambitious Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Finance Manager with at least 3 years post qualified experience and a proven track record in preparing and analysing management information, making changes to systems & processes as well as strong staff management experience.
