Birmingham Senior Social Worker Fostering Team

Salary: £32.92 – £38.81 per hour

Eden Brown Synergy have a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated Senior Social Worker to join the Fostering Team at Birmingham’s Childrens Trust.

In this role you will undertake assessments of Private Fostering arrangements. These are arrangements where children and young people are living with people who are NOT close family members and therefore comes under the Private Fostering Regulations.

The assessments involve meeting the children/YP, PF carer and birth parents and completing the assessment within the regulatory timeframe. All of the assessments will be located within the Birmingham and the worker will be supported by the Lead Senior Practitioner for Private Fostering.

For this position you will need to hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Care England. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience that supports your ability for this role.
