Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

This is a great opportunity to join this busy food processing company as a Electrically bias Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Your role will see you maintaining plant machinery to the highest level of performance, reliability, product quality and safety. Liaising with the Engineering Manager, Shift Operations Managers and Quality Managers on planning in routine or un-planned works. For this role you will need to have a flexible attitude to the task and working hours.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Qualifications

ØCity & Guilds or equivalent level Electrically qualified
ØGeneral Electrical Engineering to a recognized qualification.
ØElectrical Knowledge 3 phase. (Fault finding)
ØExperience with Packing machines, weighers typically used in food industry.
ØAbility to diagnose and understand process faults.
ØTo understand and be competent to work with all tools and machinery used.
ØUse of computer and familiarization of computerized maintenance logging and systems.
ØContinuous improvement knowledge or experience
ØGood understanding of Health and Safety at work.
i.e.; COSHH, Risk Assessments.
ØIdeally worked in a food manufacturing environment (ideal not essential)
ØForklift / Scissor Lift license (ideal not essential)

Hours of work for this position will be 22:00-06:00 Mon-Thurs 18:00-00:00 Friday (12 additional rota hours to be worked every 6 weeks). In return the company offers a salary of £51,600.
