Route Relief Vending Operator

Our client is an established and growing national vending company, and they require a Route Relief Vending Operator as part of their continued growth.

The job comprises in the cleaning & replenishing of food and coffee /beverage vending machines at sites in and around Durham, Washington, Newcastle and as far South as York on occasion, as and when required. You will be covering the routes of any operators in the area who are on holiday or if anybody is ever on sick leave. You will also be trained to be able to make basic repairs and respond to service calls in the absence of Engineers, and you will act as “Assistant Manager” to the Area Supervisor.

You will need good customer service skills, as you will be dealing with customers and any questions or problems that may arise. You will be provided with a company van and uniform.

Previous experience of working in the vending, foodservice or catering industry is preferred, however somebody from a retail or hospitality background will also be considered.
