Electronics Technician

Salary: £26,400 – £27,600 per year

Our Client is a market leading electronics manufacturing organisation who are going through a very exciting period in their history.
Due to the full order book they currently have, they require a new Electronics Technician to join their team on a full time permanent basis. Because of the broad product range they produce we require a good all round technician for this role.
Main Job Description:
* Populating PCB’s with electronic components.
* Hand soldering both surface mount and through hole circuits.
* Following circuit diagrams to complete jobs.
* Carry out fault finding tasks on PCB’s.
* Use standard diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
* Removal of faulty components.
* Fixing of non-component faults such as dry joints.
* Putting completed / repaired boards through test procedures.
To be successful in this role we require candidates who have some experience in an electronic technician role. You must have hand soldering skills and be able to fault find to electronic component level. If you have used diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes or signal generators, this would be highly beneficial. As would having experience of both through hole and surface mount PCB’s.
These roles are full time and permanent on a standard day shift Monday to Friday. It is a 40 hour working week with every Friday afternoon off.
