Customer Advisor (North West London, part time)

We are currently hiring a number of part time Customer Advisors for our Branches in North West London.

Branches with current vacancies include:Willesden, Notting Hill, Paddington, Chiswick, Westminster, Sloane Square, Hammersmith,Kensington, Shepherds Bush

Salary starting from £26,000per year (pro rata) plus excellent benefits.

As a Barclays Customer Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert advice on the products and services that are right for them. You’ll be encouraged to grow in your role, and work in new innovative ways – and you can expect the training, development and digital skills you need to deliver the excellence our customers expect.

As a Customer Advisor, your main responsibilities will involve:
• Delivering Innovative Tailored Solutions and Exquisite Service by listening to our Customers.
• Be aware of activities in the Local Community by getting to know your Customers and acknowledging events. Look to participate in local events by being the “voice” of Barclays Bank.
• Living by our values to build and maintain our reputation for service excellence.
• Developing and sharing your knowledge with colleagues, to continuously improve our customer experience
• Understanding the customer’s needs, dealing with queries and promoting the banks services.
• Take the time to understanding the customer’s needs and develop trusting relationships by becoming the ‘Go To’ person whilst promoting the Banks products and services.
• Exceeding our customers’ expectations by tailoring solutions through great communication and building strong rapport.
• Showing a caring attitude towards colleagues and customers by displaying a positive and friendly attitude.
As a Customer Advisor, your skills and qualifications will include:
• A genuine desire to provide an excellent service every time
• A proven record of excellence in a customer-focused role
• The confidence to make authoritative banking decisions that always put our customers first
• Great communication and influencing skills, and a collaborative, team-based approach to work
• Experience of creative problem solving, and the ability to take the initiative to permanently resolve potential issues

Ready to apply?
There are four stages to our application process:
1. Application (30mins): On your application we’ll ask for information like your contact details, education and work experience. You’ll also be required to upload a CV, so it’s a good idea to have it ready.
2. Online Assessments (60mins): We’ll then ask you to complete three online assessments. You’ll also receive an email with a link to the assessments so that you can complete them when it suits you best. Our assessments are carefully designed to measure the skills and capabilities necessary to be successful in our roles, but they’ll also provide you with some insight into what our roles entail.
3. Interview: If you’re successful at assessment we’ll invite you to attend a face-to-face interview. We want you to be free to choose an interview time that suits you, so we’ll provide some options and ask you to select your preferred timeslot via an online booking system.
4. Outcome: Following your interview, we’ll be in touch within five working days of all interviews being completed to advise you of the outcome.
