Fantastic opportunity for an experienced tester to join our client’s QA team during a period of growth. The opportunity will see you playing an integral role in the development of new products for a global business within the finance sector.

With offices located in Leeds City Centre, a short walk from the train station and numerous off street car parks, my client is ideally situated for people throughout all of West Yorkshire.

To be considered for the role you will need the following attributes:
• Both manual and automation testing.
• Functional and non-functional testing.
• Running test queries in SQL Server (including exposure to SSMS).
• Finance/Insurance industry knowledge.
• ISTQB/ISEB Certified (Or be prepared to gain certification)
• Testing of.Net systems.

The responsibilities of the test analyst will be to;

• Test changes independently in accordance with the defined test plan prior to migration to the operational environment
• Build and maintain a business requirements repository and test cases for accredited systems
• Build and maintain technical requirements repository and test cases for accredited systems
• Translation of requirements & design documents into test cases.
• Management of testing phase under the project manager’s direction.
• Regression testing on existing system changes.
• Demonstrate initiative and attention to detail.
• Reporting on test results to various stakeholders, including within IT and the end user community
• Ability to execute test cases end to end
• Monitor & renew test cases regularly
• Monitor & review third party test cases for quality

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a basic salary of £36,000 – £44,400plus up to 12% pension, 26 days holiday and a fantastic range of benefits.
