Salary: £42,000 – £54,000 per year

JOB TITLE: SITE DOCUMENT CONTROLLER

COMMUTABLE FROM: SLOUGH, MAIDENHEAD, WATFORD, READING, WOKING, WINDSOR, STAINES-UPON-THAMES ETC

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • £35,000 – £45,000 DOE
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • 24 days holiday + UK Bank Holidays

COMPANY INFORMATION: Our Client is a Leading Energy Provider; they operate worldwide and employ over 5000 people.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Good communicator both written and verbally
  • Well organised and able to prioritise workload efficiently
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft packages and excellent knowledge of SharePoint
  • Knowledge of HSEQ requirements
  • Previous experience in a document control/technical administrative role

INFORMATION:

  • Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation
  • Allocates and controls the document numbering system for the project work
  • Works with precision to ensure that all electronic and hard copy filing is accurate and is easily retrievable
  • Responds in a timely manner to requests to retrieve information, information searches and general requests for support from project/department personnel
  • Acquires sufficient knowledge and understanding of the business to implement and develop an effective document handling system
  • Responds directly to daily issues / requests by using business practices and experience in prioritising
  • Administration of PIRS document system
  • Receives all deliveries to site
  • Processes technical documentation and ensures documents are suitably stored
  • Establishes, develops and manages effective documentation systems and procedures and maintain relevant manuals / systems
  • Ensures works within area of responsibility are executed in accordance with the contract, and conform with project time, budget and Health, Safety, Environ[1]mental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements
  • Delivers Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projects
  • Keeps the Site Manager or deputy informed of all site related activities
