Salary: £48,000 – £72,000 per year
Working for one of the UK’s most recognised brands at one of their divisions in Staffordshire, these are interesting and rewarding roles, working within the Materials Handling unit.
Due to an extremely busy order book and the introduction of new models, they are currently seeking a number of engineers to join their design and development department at various levels.

On the development side, the duties will include:
- Development and commissioning of Hydraulic systems.
- Machine stability testing.
- Whole vehicle test and development to internal and external standards
- Development of software and associated parameters to optimise machine control systems.
- Designing, building and running endurance test rigs.
On the design side, which is a managerial role:
- Manage / own the engineering for New product introductions
- Coordinate the workload of our overseas design & drafting team
- Identify and implement product concern improvements
- Support the production line and quality teams
- Design change activities in support of material and purchasing teams
Requirements
- Whilst knowledge of vehicle design and development processes would be a distinct advantage, consideration will be given to candidates with experience from other heavy, engineering manufacturing industries
- Be educated to Degree level or equivalent experience in Engineering
- Be able to work to deadlines and deliver on time.
