Our client is a well stablished Suffolk based construction company. They are actively searching for an experienced Financial Controller / Manager to join their company and take the lead with all financial matters within the company. The role will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. The successful individual will be undertaking a key role within the companies operation. This would suit an ambitious individual who is looking to join a progressive company that is undergoing a significant growth phase.
ROLE:
* Report weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, financial and operations dashboards & metrics – and analysing any variance to target, root cause analysis, and formulate and execute, together with the team, action plans to get back to target.
* Manage the forecasting & budget processes including financial modelling, actual/variance analysis, cost oversight management.
* Oversee, prepare, and manage all accounting and finance related topics for the business (including monthly management of accounts, balance sheet preparations and reconciliations, SOX controls and requirements.
CANDIDATE:
* Bachelors/Masters Degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
* 5-10 years experience in Controller, Accounting or a Finance role.
* A background in Construction, Residential Development or Construction Consultancy
* Wide practical experience in financial analysis.
* Good technical financial acumen
