Finance Manager

Salary: £33,000 – £36,000 per year

Conrad Finance are pleased to be working with a growing business based on the outskirts of Woodbridge who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis. They are open to considering full or part time applicants to join their senior team.

The successful candidate will ideally be AAT Qualified or similar and have strong commercial and financial experience gained form a Manufacturing, Design or Production business. You will also be confident in making informed decisions within the organisation whilst having a strong understanding of foreign currencies.

Preparation of accurate and insightful monthly management information packs
You will produce information for the monthly management accounts which will include reconciliations of all ledgers and accounts and financial KPI data
Ensure cashflow is always positive through tight control.
You will work closely with the purchasing team and be aware of the current status for all purchase orders
Maintain the weekly cashflow forecast
Complete and approve the weekly payment runs
Management of foreign currency transactions, including liaison with brokers using existing forward contracts and spot rates in line with an FX strategy
Complete and run payroll payments for employees, and manage all payroll and staff records
Create financial reports, producing weekly analysis to present at senior management meetings
Identify and develop improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and cost reductions
Assist the company with new finance projects, helping the company to continue its growth in new markets
Maintain tight credit control with our customers
You will create and manage budgets and track the company’s performance overall

Candidates will:

Be AAT qualified or similar.
Have previous management accounts experience.
Previous experience with Xero.
Have strong Excel experience.
Previous experience working with different currencies.
