Salary: £26,000 – £35,100 per year
Our Client based in Guildford is looking to recruit a Security Cleared Electronics Cable Assembler for a contract based at their site in Guildford. You will have excellent knowledge in the Electronics industry, with a hand on approach. Initially our client are looking to make up some cable assemblies on site which require being able to cut, crimp and solder cables, to include some box building activities including fitting fans and PCB’s into boxes, adding connectors and doing some initial testing.
Job Description
• Electronic Assembly
• Initial PCB testing
• Working in a ESD (Electronic Static Discharge) safe Lab and workshop environment (foot straps and wrist straps provided)
• Ideally SC cleared or at least a background security check required for on-site access
• Be able to follow detailed instructions
• Good base knowledge of wiring and assembly
• Previous experience working with light assembly and soldering would be preferred
