As one of the UK’s leading building engineering services companies our client provide building engineering services to the highest level. Their contracts range from the small single visit contracts supported by our nationwide network of Mobile Engineers, to large residential facilities.
They currently require a Water Hygiene Engineer to work on a mobile basis in the Cornwall area.
Responsibilities
*Undertake monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8, HSG 274 and SHTM: 04 01 *The monitoring inspections will involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, risk assessment review and logbook auditing *The role will involve working in a multi-site capacity.
Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrate previous experience in a similar role Plumbing qualification, NVQ Level 2 or above Demonstrate previous experience in related water system remediation/maintenance works Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material (HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations) Driving Licence City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training Previous experience in Legionella Risk Assessment
