Warehouse Operatives urgently required
We are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy team in Washington. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be motivated and hard-working, having the ability to work in a warehouse environment either on your own, or as part of a larger warehouse based team.
What does working in a Warehouse entail?
* General warehouse duties
* Picking & packing
* Stowing & receiving
Some of the roles require individuals with a fairly decent level of fitness, due to the physical nature of the job at hand, so if you are in shape, keen to get in shape or just enjoy walking we could have just the position for you.
Other roles involve the need for organisation, so if walking isn’t your thing, but being organised is, we can help you out with that too!
What do we need from you?
* You must be flexible
* Honesty is a necessity along with an upbeat attitude, proactive work ethic and a refreshing smile
* You must be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and a 7 year background check
* Starting times are between 12am – 2am for approx an 8 hour shift
* Must be able to work 5 days out of a 7 day operation (including weekends)
* Sorting items by hand into a sorting trolley
* Scanning parcels
* Moving mail around the warehouse between conveyor belts, loading docks and trolleys
* Moving mailbags from cages, sorting mailbags and bundles of mail into cages
* Putting parcels in number order for the multi drop drivers
