PHP Developer – Remote

Salary: £66,000 – £78,000 per year

Full Stack Software Engineer (Back end focused), PHP (Laravel, MVC, JS, React)

£55k to £65k DOE

Company location is Surrey/Hampshire border but you can work 100% from home.

Tech Stack – PHP, MVC, Laravel, MySQL, JavaScript, React, Docker, Azure DevOps

Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading SaaS provider to recruit a talented Developer with experience in PHP and MVC frameworks, ideally Laravel. This role will be more focused on back end PHP development using Laravel, My SQL and OO PHP.

Main Responsibilities;

• Collaborate with a team of developers & testers to implement new features and enhancements
• Work with Software Architect & Lead Developers to implement new capabilities
• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by following good practices and habits
• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards

Ideal Experience & Education;

• Good experience of development using PHP and ideally Laravel
• Good understanding of design patterns and OOP concepts
• Good knowledge of SQL database design
• Knowledge of source control with Git, especially branching/merging
• Experience with TDD and unit tests
