Covid-19 Tester Roles

Salary: £13.44 – £14.4 per hour

COVID-19 Rapid Test roles – Enfield

Empowering Learning are recruiting for COVID-19 Testers and Team Leaders for a range of supply bookings that we have already received from Secondary Schools that we work with in Enfield. Therefore, a COVID-19 workforce is required in every secondary school to oversee this, as a result therefore we are now recruiting for the following positions to start in September:

Team Leader/Quality Control
Test Assistant
Processor

What does each role entail?

Team Leader/Quality Control

Responsible for the overall on-site operations at the test site, including day-to-day workforce management. Ensuring quality assurance, incidents & risk mitigation across the testing service.

Test Assistant

Provide guidance and supervision to subjects on swabbing as requested. Collects completed swabs and pass them to the Processor. Ensures cleaning of swabbing desks.

Processor

Prepares test sample for analysis, conducts processing of LFD and interprets result. Provides results to Result Recorder. Ensures cleaning of processing desks

The roles will all involve supervising students and teachers as they self-administer COVID-19 tests and providing support and guidance where needed.

You will complete a wide range of general daily tasks related to COVID-19 testing including handing out and collecting self-testing kits, recording results, organising queues, cleaning the test site, as well as ensuring that the testing site is well set up and running efficiently during the day.

Previous experience in a similar field would be beneficial

You must have the following before applying:

Right to work in the UK
DBS (if not we can help put one in process for you)
Be able to provide a reference within the last 12 months
NHS Certificates – we can provide you the link for these should you need to obtain them.
