Salary: £26,000 per year
We are looking for a Production Operative to work for our Sheffield based client.
Summary of the Production Operative position:
* The Salary: £26,000per year.
* The Location: Sheffield, S9.
* The Hours: Monday- Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:30.
* The Job: Working across production departments within the company, mainly based in the Extrusion Department.
* The Person: The ideal candidate would be reliable, with a good work ethic, basic literacy, and numeracy skills. An FLT licence would be desirable but is not essential.
* The benefits: Immediate start, accessible via public transport, training provided, onsite parking, canteen facilities, weekly pay, and an early finish on Friday! This company also offers holiday pay, and a pension scheme.
This is a temporary position, however if you are able to demonstrate skills and reliability, there is the possibility of a longer-term position to become available.

The ideal Production Operative candidate:
* Preferably have at least 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced production environment.
* A great work ethic.
* Adaptable and flexible.
* Ideally strong and resilient, to handle some physically demanding aspects of this position.
* Must be willing to learn new skills.
* Must be able to work to targets.
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required, and an understanding of route cards/ work orders is essential.
Daily duties of a Production Operative include:
* Working across the departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Flexibility on timings is required, as some day shifts may change to 6am-14:30pm or to work half days (4 hours a day) to suit business needs.
