My client was established with the aim of providing a comprehensive hotel and venue finding service, offering impartial advice based on years of knowledge and experience in the hotel industry.

Trainee Accommodation Consultant

• Offer venue finding service to all clients sourcing venues throughout the UK and countries all over the World
• Account manage numerous different clients
• Conduct periodical update meetings for clients
• Manage all contracts for events and group accommodation
• Coordinate and organise all meeting and event enquiries; arrange all travel, transfers and accommodation related to event
• Work closely with client’s budget and reconciling events
• Offer specialist knowledge and opinion where needed
• Process pro forma invoices for pre payments, chase all invoices for conference bookings after the event date has passed and process through accounts
• Oversee and project manage all event enquiries
• Negotiate with suppliers for added value, discounted rates and packages available to the client
• Organise site visits for clients if required
• Work closely with Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of all enquiries
• Follow company standards and policies on all event enquiries
•Hours are 08.30 to 17.00 or 09.30 to 18.00, Monday to Friday

MUST HAVE:

•Excellent telephone manner
•Intelligent with good educational qualifications
•Common sense
•A desire to communicate both internally and externally.
