A leading SEN school in Lambeth is recruiting x2 learning mentors. This is an ongoing long term position starting ASAP.

The school caters for secondary aged students with SEMH, learning difficulties, autism and ADHD.

Applicants will have previous experience working with a mainstream or SEN school. You will be required to float across key stage 3 & 4 working with students who present challenging behaviour. You will work on a 1:1 and group basis to promote positive behaviour and work with students to build confidence. Within your role you will be required to liaise with parents, careers and SLT.

Team Teach training would be advantageous. It is imperative you have a calm personality, are committed and flexible.

You must have a DBS check in place, or be happy to complete a new check. A minimum of 2 references will be required.

Key skills and experience needed:

* Previous experience within a school or other child related work
* SEN knowledge
* Team Teach training
* Confident with key stage 3 & 4
* Enthusiasm and friendly approach
