Senior Draughtsman (Steelwork)

Salary: £52,800 – £60,000 per year

On behalf of our long established client, we seek a Senior Draughtsman/Detailer who can use Tekla structures software and who has considerable experience working on structures/steel framed building projects.

Senior Draughtsman role includes:

• Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models for a range of steelwork projects (mainly buildings/structures).

• Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings.

• Working both on your own and at times within a small team on larger projects.

• Provide guidance to junior members of the team where required.

Senior Draughtsman Requirements:

• Experience using Tekla structures software is highly advantageous (we may consider people who can use Advance Steel etc).

• Solid experience in detailing steel buildings/structures- at least 7 yrs.

• Ability to organise workload and manage detailing / issue of drawings program.

On offer for the successful Senior Draughtsman:

• This is a full time, permanent PAYE position.

• Very good salary £52,800 – £60,000(negotiable).
